Silly Yaks Pies win Medals at Pie Competition

The results of this year's campaign to win medals at the Great Aussie Meat Pie Competition 2010 have exceeded even our high expectations!  We're immensely proud, gratified and flattered that our efforts to produce high quality gluten free baked goods have once again been recognised in a mainstream food industry competition.

Each of the three pies that we entered this year was awarded a medal, with one of them being awarded a Silver Medal in the Gourmet Red Meat Category.

We were particularly flattered by some of the judges' comments regarding our pastry, including comments like:

• "Great effort for a Gluten Free Pie";
• "Great job with Gluten Free pastry";
• "Nice Gluten Free product"; and
• "Pastry has a great taste".
