In response to overwhelming popular demand, Silly Yak Foods is proud to announce the opening of our new factory outlet store.

The store is located at our offices at Unit 9, 62A Albert St, Preston.

Finding Us

As our offices are located at the rear of a small industrial estate which fronts onto Albert St, Preston, they are unfortunately a little difficult to find if you don't know where you're going!

62A is an industrial estate sandwiched between the Westpac Business Banking Centre on the South side and a series of small factories which front onto Albert St on the North side.  The two businesses from our estate which front onto Albert St are Ultratune on the South side and the Kitchen Shack on the North.  The entrance to the estate is almost directly opposite Cynga St.

To find us, turn off Albert St into the 62A industrial estate down the wide asphalt driveway which runs Eastwards between the Ultratune and Kitchen Shack.  Drive to the back of the estate and turn left.  Unit 9, which is our office and factory outlet, is at the rear on the left hand side.

Product Range

We will be offering a full range of frozen products only, including Breads & Rolls, Sweet Pastry, Savoury Pastry, Pizza Bases and Potato Gnocchi. Biscuits will also be available.

Please bear in mind that products are available from our factory outlet frozen only.

Payment Options

We now have EFT facilities in our Factory Outlet Store, meaning that as well as paying with cash, you can now use your card to pay by EFTPOS. We also accept Visa and Mastercard.

We do not accept American Express or Diners' Club cards due to the exorbitant commission fees that those organisations charge on transactions.

Opening Hours

Please note that our Factory Outlet Store will be closed from Monday the 3rd of August, re-opening on Monday the 30th of August.

Initially we will only be opening for very restricted hours, as we gauge interest. We may revise these hours in future, depending on popularity and customer demand.

Monday: 11:00 am until 3:00 p.m.

Tuesday: 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Wednesday and all other times: Open by appointment only - please telephone Glenys Mills on 0412-752-771 to arrange a time.

Saturdays: We will be opening the Factory Outlet Store one Saturday a month in 2010. Please join our newsletter to be notified of the dates and times of these openings, or check out our Latest News section to see when the next Saturday opening is scheduled.

Please note that we do not open on Public Holidays.
